Parte Events and Design was founded on creating purposeful luxury designs for boutique weddings. Our services are designed for those who want a stylized wedding to highlight their unique personality as a couple.

OUR STORY.

Founder Anna Kate graduated from the College of Charleston in 2016 with a business degree geared toward hospitality. During her undergrad years, she interned for a boutique wedding planning company and had the opportunity to work for one of the most well-known hospitality groups in Charleston. Anna Kate feels lucky enough to have found a few close friends who took a leap of faith with her as she headed to open her wedding planning firm in 2017, Parte Events and Design. Anna Kate has collectively been in the industry for close to fifteen years overseeing the plans and execution of weddings, from intimate nuptials to luxurious wedding weekends.

Our planning team has the pleasure of working with the top venues in Charleston and building events from the ground up for private residence locations. Anna Kate, Mae Mae, and their team have found their place within the Charleston wedding scene, providing a unique planning experience that results in a ‘parte’ our clients will never forget.

  • Anna Kate Shuler Sherrill

    OWNER AND SENIOR LEAD PLANNER

    Anna-Kate was born and raised in Sumter, South Carolina, and moved to Charleston in 2011 to attend The College of Charleston. While earning her degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, she gained invaluable experience working with some of the Lowcountry's premier hospitality groups and boutique design firms, where she discovered her passion for luxury event design and planning.

    After graduating, Anna-Kate turned that passion into a career by founding Parte Events & Design in 2017. Since then, she has been dedicated to creating thoughtfully designed, memorable celebrations that reflect each client's unique vision and style.

    Anna-Kate is married to her high school sweetheart, Zach, and together they have two boys, Liam and Shuler. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, soaking up the sun at the beach, and planning the next get together with her friends!

  • Mae Mae Joseph

    PARTIAL PLANNING, PLANNER ASSISTANT

    MaeMae was born and raised in Camden, South Carolina, and moved to Charleston in 2022 after graduating from Wofford College. Long before planning became a career, she was the go-to organizer among family and friends, always happiest with a checklist, a timeline, and a plan.

    What began in 2023 as helping stuff envelopes for weddings quickly grew into a passion for the event industry. MaeMae discovered that she loved being part of the moments that bring people together, transforming ideas into thoughtful, memorable celebrations.

    Today, she is dedicated to creating seamless events that reflect each client's unique vision. Whether coordinating the smallest details or managing the big picture, MaeMae believes the best events are the ones where every guest feels welcomed and every host can simply enjoy the moment.

  • Sunny Suzette Crutchfield

    MARKETING COORDINATOR

    Originally from Knoxville, TN, Sunny has made coastal living in Charleston, SC home with her husband and new baby, Annie James. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in both Marketing & Entrepreneurship, her career focus has been on brand development for creatives and small businesses. As a creative herself, event design feels very much a part of her, and she has loved voicing the Parte experience. You may recognize her onsite assisting event production or capturing behind-the-scenes footage. Sunny loves home design projects, family beach days, and baking custom event cakes outside of the office.
